Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
VoiceBid is a small site with a small privacy footprint, on purpose. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what data the site touches and what it never does. The short version: we run no advertising or analytics trackers of any kind, we set exactly one small essential cookie, we log anonymous product events to improve the board, and we only store an email if you join the roadmap waitlist yourself.
No trackers, no analytics, no ad pixels
This site carries no marketing or advertising trackers, no analytics scripts, and no ad pixels. Nothing follows you around the web, nothing profiles you, and there is no third-party tracking of any kind. We also don't need a cookie-consent banner, because we don't set the kind of cookies banners exist for.
The one cookie we set
We set a single essential cookie called vb_visitor. It holds a short, anonymous, random identifier (no name, no email, no personal data) and it is strictly functional:
It helps the checkout flow work reliably, and it supports anti-spam rate limiting (keeping flood and abuse from breaking the site for everyone else). It is httpOnly, SameSite=Lax, Secure, and it expires after 24 hours. That's the whole cookie setup. Nothing else is set, and the site works fine if you block or delete it.
What we collect
When you claim a spot on the board, we store what the listing needs: a category, your product URL, and a short description. That is what gets published on the board. It's the listing itself, not a profile of you.
When you click Visit Product (or the product title) on a listing, we increment that listing's public click count. The number on the card is just a count of those clicks. No identity is shown, stored as a profile, or shared.
If you join the homepage roadmap waitlist (“Get notified”), we store the email address you submit, plus when you signed up and that the source was the roadmap form. We use that only to tell you when planned features (such as one API key across voice infras and same-input side-by-side TTS/STT compare) ship. We do not sell waitlist emails or use them for unrelated marketing. To be removed, email support@voicebid.lol from that address (or include the email to remove).
If you submit a “Can't find what you need?” help request, we store the work email and the description of what you're looking for (and optional company website) so we can reply with product suggestions. Optional voice dictation on that form runs in your browser (Web Speech API) and is not uploaded as audio — only the text you send is stored. We use that only for this matching help. We do not sell these requests or share your contact details with vendors without asking you first. To delete a request, email support@voicebid.lol from that address.
Payments are processed by our payment provider, Dodo Payments, on their own hosted checkout pages. Your name, email, and card details go to them there. We never see or store your card details. For details on how Dodo handles payment data, see the terms on their checkout page.
Anonymous product events
To improve VoiceBid and understand how the Voice AI ecosystem is used, we log anonymous product events such as board views, filter changes, Try on VoiceBid opens (and whether a demo loaded), Visit Product clicks, and claim-modal opens. Events are tied to the random vb_visitor session id when present — not to your name or email. We do not use these events for advertising, and we do not sell them. We do not store microphone audio or call transcripts from tries in this log.
We also keep a public running total of unique anonymous sessions (the same vb_visitor cookie when present). That number may appear on the homepage as “visitors.” It is a count only — no names, emails, or profiles.
What we never do
We do not sell or share personal data for advertising. We do not build marketing profiles. We do not add you to any list unless you opt in (for example, the roadmap waitlist or a buyer help request).
How long we keep things
Listing data is kept for as long as the listing is live on the board. Waitlist emails and buyer help requests are kept until you ask us to remove them, or until we no longer need them for those product notifications or matching replies. Anonymous product events are kept only as long as they remain useful for improving the product and understanding demand (we may aggregate or delete older raw events). Rate-limit counters are short-lived buckets used purely for anti-spam and are cleaned up automatically.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. Reach the team through Support and we'll handle it directly.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices ever change, we'll update this page, and if the change is significant, we'll say so plainly here. The rule stays the same: keep it as minimal as the service needs.
